Strike System SS-1
Instructions
The SS-1, the most efficient invert
forming system in the Precast Industry. We take pride in our
accomplishments as well as responsibility to make sure you receive the best
quality product for your money. This instruction sheet should answer
all the questions you might have when it comes to pouring the SS-1 Invert.
If it doesn’t, please call 800-262-4129 and ask for one of our
representatives and we will take care of any questions you might have.
Thanks for your business!

Step 1
Place your SS-1 invert inside your pallet (with the channel piece facing up)
attach your hole formers to the end of the channel, while sandwiching the
flex adaptor in between the hole former and the channel. Do not
over tighten hole formers. Jacket will tighten the hole formers to
where they need to be.
Step 2
Take form oil and spray it to all parts of the SS-1. This will allow
for easier stripping and a cleaner finish.
Step 3
Place your jacket around the form and begin to pour your concrete.
Step 4
Once the concrete is cured, strip off the outside jacket and Unbolt the
Hole Formers! The pallet can also be removed at this point.
Step 5
Flip over the product and begin pulling the SS-1 out of the manhole base.
The form will create a vacuum, so blowing air through the hole of the SS-1
Flex Adaptor, this will aid in striping the form and releasing some of the
suction. To release vacuum, remove hole former plug and shoot air into
air hole of the flex adaptor.
Step 6
Remove the flex adaptors and hole formers from the concrete part and set it
up for the next pour.
